My Story

About Sheli

Hey love, I’m Sheli.

Former emotional sherpa, retired peacekeeper, and current queen of "nope, not my circus".

At 14, I was in a car accident that changed everything. The seatbelt saved my life but damaged my back. Doctors told me I shouldn’t become a hairstylist because my back wouldn’t hold up – and for a long time, they were right.

When I started working behind the chair, I came home every night in pain. My back hurt so badly I’d lay on the floor with my calves propped on the couch just to feel a little relief. I thought pain was just part of the job – until I learned a better way.

My sister became a Physical Therapist and taught me how to move and care for my body. I became a personal trainer to help others address their pain before it became a big problem. Now, as a Stylist Movement Coach & Educator, I teach hairstylists simple, powerful moves to relieve pain, build strength, and protect their bodies – without adding another overwhelming “self-care routine” to their plates.

Because it’s not about pushing through.
It’s about moving with strength, intention, and care – so you can keep doing the work you love for years to come.

When I’m not teaching stylists how to untangle their tension and reclaim their energy, you’ll find me in my 250 sq ft lily pad, keeping my life minimal and my snack drawer maximal. I don’t do drama, pity parties, or perfectionism. I do fierce compassion, body wisdom, and M&M therapy sessions on the regular.

Helping hairstylists feel strong, supported, and pain-free behind the chair and beyond.

My Approach to Movement Coaching

I am committed to providing hairstylists with the knowledge and tools they need to prioritize their physical health. My approach focuses on integrating intentional movement, self-care practices, and postural awareness into their daily work routines, empowering them to thrive in their profession and beyond.
